CHRISTINA KHOO
My grandson studied in Melbourne but came to Singapore in 2020 to serve his National Service. He decided to register for the UK GCE A levels. Unfortunately, because he was so busy with his duties, he only realised the papers started on October 12, 2020, when he received his notification on 2nd October. Desperate, we were willing to let him forgo the exams as it was less than 2 weeks before the commencement, but he wanted to attempt them nevertheless. We called so many local tutors who immediately rejected us for fear he would not do well.
Ascend was highly recommended by a dear friend whose daughter did so well. I spoke with Devi from Ascend on October 4th. I was so grateful when she immediately accepted my grandson and assured me her tutors would try their best.
My grandson did well ( as far as I am concerned ) and managed a C for his economics which is amazing given the time frame and the fact that he was busy as he had to concurrently serve his national service whilst attempting the daunting A levels examination.
What is more important to me, was Devi, the principal. She counselled and consulted my grandson throughout and even helped him prepare for his English A level exams. She still keeps in touch and is so caring. I would recommend Ascend with full belief that they will strive to ensure that the student gets the best available help.
