Lina graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design and a Minor in Psychology. While in school she interned at Fisher-Price where she worked as a toy designer for the Think & Learn line. She loves working with children and teaching new and exciting ways of looking at the world through the lens of design.
Lina recently completed her Master's degree in Anthropology at Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. Her thesis studied the relations between pedestrians and street vendors through the design and implementation of urban furniture around the city of Bogotá. Working closely with architects, designers, politicians and public servants, she was able to obtain a real understanding of the social and political network underlying the design of everyday urban objects.
