The Paradox of Choice and Decision Making
When you think about society’s problems, whether global warming, terrorism or disease, does the lack of solutions make you angry? if there are so many clever people to solve them, why are we failing?
We will show students how having a vast amount of choice can be counter-intuitive in decision-making. We will also explore a plethora of strategies in decision making and discuss the pros/cons of each as it relates to today's major societal problems.
