Steven C. Davidson, C.F.A. has over 25 years of leadership and management experience in investment research, capital market transactions, and policy development, primarily in the financial services industry and related businesses. He is the investment management head of the U.S. Treasury Department's community bank portfolio and has advised on Community Development Financial Institutions bond
issuance. At the Treasury, Mr. Davidson has also served as and adviser on West Africa for the International Affairs group.
Prior to working for the treasury department, Steven ran a consulting firm whose clients included the World Bank, investment firms, bond dealers, and commercial real estate. Davidson has held the position of Managing Director of Research for a global financial markets trade group with offices in New York, Washington, London and Hong Kong. Steve is currently President of the Washington Association of Money Managers, having served on boards of other nonprofits.
He has received degrees from Knox College and Georgetown University and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
